The 2012 RANGER® HD 800 is the heavy-duty workhorse of the RANGER line. It features self-leveling Nivomat® rear shocks to maximize suspension travel and ground clearance when fully loaded, for a smooth ride in heavy-duty work applications.

The Polaris Engine Braking System (EBS) controls downhill braking to give you optimum control and smooth, even deceleration during descents.
ON-DEMAND TRUE ALL WHEEL DRIVE WITH VERSATRAC TURF MODE
True AWD keeps you moving, automatically engaging all four wheels when you need more forward traction and reverting back to 2WD when you don’t. When in 2WD, the VersaTrac Turf Mode switch unlocks the rear differential for easier, tighter turns that won’t tear up your grass.
800 ENGINE
The proven, big-bore 800 twin-cylinder engine gets the job done, and features EFI for fast, reliable starting in any temperature, plus automatic adjustments for altitude.

SELF-LEVELING SUSPENSION
When the RANGER HD—loaded with up to 1,000 lbs. in the box—starts moving, the Nivomat®1 rear shocks automatically lift the loaded box to near its unloaded height, maximizing suspension travel and the 12" ground clearance, for a smooth ride in heavy-duty work applications.
ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING (EPS)
The smoothest, most responsive electronic power steering available, with Variable Assist for easier steering at lower speeds. Our EPS lets you workall day with less fatigue.
FULLY ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION
The only 4-corner adjustable suspension system. Dual A-Arm with exclusive top mounting-point adjustability. Adjust to softer setting for trail riding or stiffer for heavy-duty work. Front: 9.6" suspension travel. Rear: 9" suspension travel.
